i hope she (30f) isn’t weirded out that i (34m) only have one friend…
a few years ago i met this amazing woman, long story short we only hung out for about six months, but we built a very strong bond. due to unforeseen circumstances out of our control, we haven’t hung out in four years, but have kept in touch through messaging and emails.
she emailed me recently and gave me an update on her life, and wanted to hear how i’m doing… and in my email i conveyed that i only hang out with one friend, this guy friend i met a couple years ago.
i went through alot of severe things throughout my 20’s, and it led to me losing a lot of friends.
i had tons of friends in college, and i have a pleasant personality, and will confidently say that i’m a good looking, down to earth dude.
i’m kinda worried that my friend will think it’s strange that i only have one true friend… he’s not a casual friend, we have deep conversations all the time… and i made sure to tell my friend that i’m “happy i have a small circle in my life”, and i showed no pain or frustration, but pure joy and contentment in life, despite only having one friend.
do you think my friend would be weirded out at this?
